This November, Building Cure™ will open its doors, expanding Seattle Children’s research campus to over one million square feet. Stefan Frei’s final You Shall Not Pass scarf, the Cure Edition, will support the vastly expanded immunotherapy labs where researchers reprogram a child’s own immune system to fight cancer. With the support of fundraisers like this one, Seattle Children’s is producing remarkable results and saving lives. Thank you for supporting this world-class work and helping us kick childhood cancer!

The Story: When I started these scarf sales last year while my daughter was in treatment for stage IV kidney cancer, I thought about designing a scarf for Stefan Frei, but realized I couldn't do it better than Stef would himself. When I asked him, he said, "First and foremost, I'm saddened to hear about your daughter's diagnosis, but wish her and your whole family strength to get through this difficult time. I admire your immediate drive to action in organizing something like this. Of course, there was no doubt that I needed to be a part of it, so I got to working right away." He went on to explain that his design combines his passion for soccer as well as his love for art and graffiti. I simply call his design "kick ass." As in "kick cancer's ass." My gratitude for his contribution knows no bounds. I am a forever fan!
